Immediately after the cease of the Second World War the society started to feel that the world’s basic values are clear and justifiable . Both world politics and social relations were depending on the concepts of gain , good innovations , belief in the logical , enlightenment , hi-tech innovations , and the ability to reason any phenomenon from a logical standpoint . Notwithstanding , starting from the second half of the 60’s, the world commenced to deteriorate and now , 40 years later , we live in a different kind of actuality .
We effortlessly spot all changes which are brought to us by new technology, but we seldom are aware of the fact that there are some concepts standing behind those technological solutions. The essence of the expected change was initially spotted by those people, who as a rule of thumb lived anteceding their time – writers and authors. Among the multiple authors whose books have served for pleasure , there have been a few who have given the humankind a new picture of the future . They have more effectively than others other authors created and worded authentic suggestions and have ultimately done a brand new intellectual and perceptual substantiation of the future. They have noted issues in the mundane of our lives and have opened a number of problems, which were dragging on without being noticed . They have aided us to realize the new challenges , and have given us new aspirations .
These were the authors who have formed the minds of the entire generation, which has taken the blow of cardial change; change, which was perceived as disarray at the start of the 21 first century. They have turned our attention to the most burning dilemmas of the past era ; those problems , which the humankind , having lived through the global wars and wild sufferings , was unwilling to meet . Finally they were formulating the main dilemma “What will our future be like?”

They have all significantly affected literature of their epoch, have reflected looks and problems which were classic to their nations and the period they lived in, and have made the readers think about the running ideology of values, having them realize that it is far away from being flawless. One of the most important aspects of their work is that in mostly they have risen the readers’ attention in books and written matter. In this aspect one of the most interesting success stories is that of a famous author Lewis Carroll .
The achievement of Joan Rowling can be considered unique as she has found herself to be the first writer in the world to make $1 billion by publishing fairytales. She is today spending a huge part of her profit on charity, fighting poverty and illness. The idea of the book was invented while she was on the train from Manchester to London. When the publisher has first decided to print her book, she has given her 1500 pounds together with a kind piece of advice — to look for a permanent job. He was unaware of the idea that the young writer would be able to make a living off of writing. Joann has demonstrated the opposite - having produced a series of amazing fairytales, she has motivated the so-called non-reading people get back to reading.
This work is not able to name and more or less precisely list all authors who have made their contribution to the nowadays literature. They have been writing and bringing ideas exactly into the thoughts of the people, and in this way were shaping the future. Thus, as we can see, these writers were not writing for entertainment only, but they were also playing a considerable part in shaping the culture and the looks of a society of the 20th century.
